New England Open Markets has been supporting the local small business community for 20 years. We curate a unique market experience bringing together local artisans, makers, and vintage dealers in some of the best locations in the region. What started in 2003 as a passion project to connect consumers with local artists and makers has grown into a New England tradition. Come meet the makers and artisans at our three headline open markets this year; there’s something for everyone in Boston’s bustling Boylston Street, Cambridge’s vibrant Harvard Square, and along Plymouth’s historic waterfront!

At NEOM, we're proud to have served as an incubator for microbusinesses over the past 20 years, giving them a venue to make meaningful connections with the public, helping them to thrive and grow. From our headline outdoor open markets to our festive holiday markets , we aim to help uplift small businesses of all kinds and pride ourselves on curating an inclusive space that centers and celebrates diversity. BOSTON OPEN MARKET
Saturdays, May through October
Boylston Street sidewalk between Arlington and Charles Street
Boston, MA

Now in its fourth season, the Boston Open Market will be returning this year to Boylston Street. Moving a few blocks down from its original home in Copley Square due to construction, Boston's favorite open-air market is back to support local artisans and small businesses. With 55 local artists and makers participating, visitors can discover local goodness directly from the creators every Saturday right along the Boylston Street entrance to the Boston Public Garden. Featuring only 100% handmade goods, the market showcases the area's finest artisans and artists every week from May through October. From one-of-a-kind original artwork to handmade jewelry, small-batch soaps, and vintage leather coats, there is truly something for everyone, and you're bound to find something new every week!
